Dr. M. Praveen Kumar completed his graduation from Kakatiya medical College Warangal and post graduation from Osmania medical College Institute of mental health, Hyderabad.
He established MANNA HOSPITAL in Karimnagar on world health Day that is on7th April 2003 and it was inaugurated by IMA Karimnagar pitahmaha Dr Bhumi Reddy garu. MANNA HOSPITAL is a 20 bedded licensed psychiatric Hospital and completed more than 20 years in the service of Mental HealthDr. Praveen Kumar won the prestigious National award, Dr. CS Thakar award in IMA annual national conference in the year 2011 in Bengaluru Presently, he is the President of Indian Association of Private Psychiatrists, Telangana state branch. He served as the executive committee Member in Indian Psychiatry Society , Telangana state branch. Also, he is at present the Secretary of Karimnagar Psychiatric Society and served as treasurer of KPS for a period of eight years. He also served as secretary for IMA Karimnagar and Vice President of Telangana Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association Karimnagar. He is the founder of Krupa Society, a non-governmental organisation, which is working towards the awareness of psychological disorders and substance abuse disorders in the society. Also, Dr Praveen Kumar is Melvin Jones fellow of Lions Club , Satavahana Karimnagar and participated in various Philanthropic activities
